Amicus Therapeutics Inc. (FOLD), a biopharmaceutical company, said it has named William "Chip" Baird, III as chief financial officer, effective today. Baird, with over 15 years of experience in finance and strategic planning, would be responsible for all Finance, Accounting and Investor Relations activities.
Baird, who joins Amicus from PTC Therapeutics Inc., would report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive, John Crowley. He worked at PTC for more than 10 years in positions of increasing responsibility.
