Abaxis Inc. (ABAX) reported fourth quarter net income of $0.21 per share after the bell Thursday, up from $0.15 per share in the previous year.
Abaxis gapped up and rose sharply in early trade Friday, before settling into a range. The stock climbed for the majority of the afternoon and finished up by 6.22 at $36.04, with volume at a 6-month high. Abaxis surged past resistance and set a new high for the year.
