Harman International Industries (HAR) reported third quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.74 Monday morning, up from $0.60 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.67.
Harman International Industries gapped up sharply Monday and climbed during the first hour of trade. The stock gave back some of its early gains, but finished higher by 2.32 at $49.58 on the highest volume in over 8 months. Harman closed challenging resistance, trading at a month and a half high.
