Foreign direct investment in China declined for the sixth consecutive month in April, the Ministry of Commerce said Tuesday.
Investment was down 0.74 percent from the prior year, but the rate was slower than the 6.1 percent decline seen in March. Investment totaled $8.4 billion in April.
During the first four months of 2012, FDI decreased 2.4 percent annually to $37.9 billion.
