Unitech Ltd. reported fourth-quarter stand-alone net profit of Rs.42.45 crore, down from Rs.64.83 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. Total income decreased to Rs.384.37 crore from Rs.474.43 crore in the year-ago quarter.
On a consolidated basis, its net profit for the fourth-quarter declined to Rs.2.26 crore from the Rs.102.50 crore in Q4FY11. Total income fell to Rs.770.46 crore from the Rs.1,095.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
At the BSE, Unitech shares are currently trading at Rs.19.55, down 2.01 percent from the previous close.
