Google Inc. (GOOG) gapped open higher Wednesday and climbed during the first 45 minutes of trade. The stock settled into a range for the remainder of the session and closed up by 17.82 at $628.93 on above average volume.
Google broke out of a trading range Wednesday and set a one-month high. The stock also re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
