Ford Motor Co. (F) announced that dealers are now taking orders for C-MAX Hybrid. The company specified that C-MAX Hybrid will be more affordable than Toyota Motor Corp.'s (TM) Prius v while achieving better fuel economy. Ford said C-MAX Hybrid is being produced at Wayne, Michigan Assembly Plant.
Ford noted that 2013 C-MAX Hybrid will be available this fall with a base price of $25,995, which is approximately $500 lower than the Prius v's base price.
