Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. posted fourth-quarter net profit of Rs.134.53 crore, up from Rs.82.94 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year Total income declined to Rs.625.69 crore from the Rs.634.34 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
On a consolidated basis, the company posted fourth-quarter net profit of Rs.160.17 core, down from Rs.196.78 crore in Q4FY11. Total income rose to Rs.920.05 crore from Rs.823.94 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company's board recommended a dividend of Re.1.50 per equity share of Re.1 each for the fiscal yer 2012.
At the BSE, Zee Entertainment closed Monday's trading at Rs.123.20, unchanged from the previous close.
