Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) rose steadily until around mid-morning Tuesday, but settled into a range for the remainder of the abbreviated trading session. The stock finished up by 1.40 at $70.75.
Wal-Mart Stores has been on an upward trend since mid-May and closed Tuesday at a new high for the year.
