J. M. Smucker Co. (SJM) announced that its board has approved an increase in the quarterly dividend from $0.48 to $0.52 per common share, an increase of approximately eight percent. The dividend will be paid on September 4, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Friday, August 10, 2012.
