Following the release of Canada's retail sales figures for May at 8:30 am ET, the Canadian dollar paused its recent uptrend against its major rivals. As of 8:31 am ET, the loonie was trading at 1.2304 against the euro, 76.95 against the yen and 1.0180 against the greenback.
