The Australian dollar extended its previous session's downtrend against the New Zealand dollar in New York mid-day deals on Friday. The Aussie decreased by 0.49 percent to a fresh multi-day low of 1.2913 versus the kiwi, which may be compared to yesterday's close of 1.2974.
