Biochrom AG (MKGAY.PK) announced that Merck & Co. Inc.(MRK) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Biochrom AG. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by the relevant antitrust authorities.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth-quarter of 2012.
The Berlin location Biochrom AG is to be maintained. The activities of Biochrom be integrated into the Process Solutions business unit of Merck Millipore.
