Residential property prices in Sweden increased from last year in August, after staying unchanged in the previous month, data released by Statistics Sweden showed Thursday.
Prices for one-or two-dwelling buildings increased 1 percent on an annual basis in August, after remaining flat in the previous month.
In the three months ended August, house prices advanced 3 percent from the preceding three-month period. On an annual basis, prices decreased 1 percent during the period.
The average price for a one-or two-dwelling building was around SEK2.1 million in August, higher than SEK2.05 million recorded in July.
The number of residential property transactions recorded was 2,761, sharply lower than the previous month's figure of 4,038, data showed.
