Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc. (HGR) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $17.3 million or $0.50 per share from $15.4 million or $0.45 per share last year.
Adjusted net income for the quarter was $$17.5 million or $0.50 per share, compared to $15.7 million or $0.46 per share last year.
Net sales for the quarter grew 3.5 percent to $243.5 million from $235.3 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.50 per share on revenue of $250.19 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
