China Digital TV Holding (STV) declared a special cash dividend of US$2.30 per share on the Company's ordinary shares Monday morning.
Shares of China Digital TV climbed sharply until mid-morning Monday and closed up by 0.90 at $3.89 on the highest volume of the year. The stock surged to over an 8-month high and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
