At 5.30 am ET Wednesday, the Bank of England is scheduled to publish its quarterly Inflation Report. Ahead of the report, the pound showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the pound rose against the yen and the greenback, it fell against the franc and the euro.
At 5:25 am ET, the pound was worth 1.5896 against the greenback, 1.5019 against the franc, 127.03 against the yen and 0.8020 against the euro.
