International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), Friday said that Cellum Group, a Hungary-based provider of mobile payment solutions with over a million mobile payment transactions per month has chosen IBM's Flex System to provide more efficient m-payment services in Hungary.
Cellum plans to launch the new service in Hungary by January next year while also eying Bulgaria, Albania and Austria in the near future.
"The IBM Flex System provides the security, flexibility and integration capabilities that will help Cellum Group introduce more efficient m-payment solutions while lowering payment processing costs," said Zsolt Veres, Country General Manager, IBM Hungary. "This system provides the infrastructure for Cellum to rapidly deliver additional m-payment applications and bring new mobile innovations to Hungarian consumers."
The IBM Flex System is a built-to-order service with custom-building and enables configurations to be tuned to suit specific requirements.
