The yen that erased early losses against other major currencies climbed further in early European deals on Friday.
The yen advanced to a 9-day high of 87.92 against the franc, 8-day high of 106.22 against the euro, 2-day highs of 82.19 against the greenback and 131.83 against the pound, rebounding from early lows of 88.61, 107.10, 82.58 and 132.55, respectively.
Against the NZ and Australian dollars, the yen is worth 68.39 and 86.12, compared to early lows of 68.74 and 86.54, respectively.
The yen reversed from an early multi-day low of 83.32 versus the loonie and reached a 2-day high of 82.89.
