Switzerland's industrial output figures for third quarter are due at 3.15 am ET. Production was up 4.6 percent year-on-year in the second quarter.
The Swiss franc held steady against its major rivals ahead of the report. As of 3:10 am ET, the franc was trading at 0.9335 against the dollar, 96.10 against the yen, 1.2434 against the euro and 1.4827 against the pound.
