Switzerland's industrial production rose 2.2 percent year-on-year in the third quarter, compared to a revised increase of 4.7 percent in the previous quarter.
The Swiss franc held steady against its major rivals after the report. As of 3:17 am ET, the franc was trading at 0.9323 against the dollar, 96.16 against the yen, 1.2420 against the euro and 1.4815 against the pound.
