AMCOL International Corp. (ACO) announced it has taken a minority ownership position in Novinda Corporation, a Denver, Colorado-based provider of mercury emission control solutions. The terms of the transaction between AMCOL and Novinda were not disclosed.
In working with Novinda, AMCOL said it developed methods to manufacture and deliver Amended Silicates in quantities large enough to meet the demands of the market.
