FleetCor Technologies Inc. (FLT) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.82 after the bell Thursday, up from $0.56 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.75. Full year 2013 adjusted EPS is expected to be between $3.61 and $3.69, compared to the consensus estimate of $3.40.
FleetCor Technologies gapped up sharply Friday and climbed in early trade, before settling into a narrow range. Shares finished up by 6.46 at $66.01 on strong volume. The stock surged past the upper end of a 3-week range and set a new high for the year.
