The Board of Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (APC) Tuesday named Al Walker as Chairman of the Board, effective May 14. Walker succeeds James Hackett, who will retire in June.
Walker will also continue to serve as President and CEO.
Following Walker's election as Chairman, the Board has also enhanced the duties of the Lead Director to ensure a proper corporate-governance structure with appropriate independence.
