Descartes Systems Group Inc. (DSGX, DSG.TO) reported that its fourth-quarter of fiscal 2013 net income was $7.8 million, up 73% from $4.5 million in the fourth-quarter of fiscal 2012. Earnings per share were $0.12, up 71% from $0.07 last year.
Revenues were $33.8 million, up 14% from $29.6 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.15 per share on revenues of $33.45 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
