UBS upgraded its rating on shares of Walgreen Co. (WAG) Wednesday morning to "Buy" from "Neutral."
Walgreen gapped up Wednesday and rose steadily throughout the first hour of trade, before settling into a range. The stock closed up by 1.74 at $42.78 on above average volume. Walgreen climbed above over a 5-week range and set a new high for the year.
