Retail sales in Norway increased in February, but at a slower pace compared to the previous month, data from Statistics Norway showed Thursday.
Retail sales, excluding sales of motor vehicles and sales at petrol stations, rose 0.5 percent on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in February. This was weaker than a 1 percent growth recorded in January.
Unadjusted sales, excluding sales of motor vehicles and sales at petrol stations, fell 0.6 percent year-on-year in February.
Total retail trade, excluding motor vehicle sales, rose 0.5 percent month-on-month and was down 0.9 percent annually.
