Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (OMAB) reported that terminal passenger traffic at its 13 airports increased 6.6% in March 2013, as compared to March 2012. Domestic traffic increased 7.0%, and international traffic increased 4.7%.
Of total March traffic, 97.6% was commercial aviation and 2.4% was general aviation.
The number of flight operations including takeoffs and landings in March decreased 3.6% as compared to the same month of last year. The number of domestic operations decreased 4.2% and international operations increased 0.5%.
