Lonrho Plc. (LONR.L) announced that it has raised 2.50 million pounds, by way of a placing of 40.31 million new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the share capital of the company at 6.2 pence per Placing Share.
The Placing was made to H21 Macro Ltd and the proceeds from the Placing will be utilised as working capital to continue to grow the existing Group businesses.
Application has been made to the Financial Conduct Authority and The London Stock Exchange for a listing of 40.31 million ordinary shares of 1 pence each to be admitted to the Official List, and admission is expected to take place on 10 April 2013.
The total number of shares in issue following the issue of the Placing Shares is 1,653,415,048 ordinary shares with nominal value of 1 pence each, with voting rights. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.
