The Australian dollar drifted lower against most major opponents in early New York deals on Friday.
The aussie slipped to 1.2376 against the NZ dollar, its lowest level since March 7. On the downside, the aussie-kiwi pair may break 1.23 level.
The aussie hit more than a 2-week low of 1.0378 against the greenback around 9:30 am ET. Against the euro, the aussie fell to 1.2536, its lowest since March 15.
