The Eurozone sentix indicator is due out at 4:30 am ET. The index is expected to ease to -12.8 in April from -10.6 in March.
The euro edged higher against most of its major rivals ahead of the report. As of 4:25 am ET, the common currency was trading at 1.1773 against the pound, 128.5150 against the yen, 1.2151 against the Swiss franc and 1.3010 against the dollar.
