Badger Meter Inc. (BMI) reported first quarter EPS of $0.20 after the bell Tuesday, down from $0.42 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.50.
Badger Meter gapped open sharply lower Wednesday and is now down 5.88 at $46.44 in early trade. The stock has dropped to a 3 1/2 month low.
