New Zealand Credit Card Spending On Tap For Monday

New Zealand is on Monday scheduled to release March numbers for credit card spending and net migration, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

In February, credit card spending was up 3.3 percent on month and 4.7 percent on year, while 550 people migrated to the country.

Japan will provide March figures for supermarket and convenience store sales. In February, supermarket sales were down 5.5 percent on year and convenience store sales dipped 4.7 percent.

Malaysia will release unemployment data for February; in January, the unemployment rate was 3.2 percent and the4 participation rate came in at 65.6 percent.

Hong Kong will announce inflation data for March; in February, CPI came in at 4.4 percent.
