Graco Inc. (GGG) Wednesday reported first-quarter net earnings of $52.1 million or $0.84 per share, up from $35.4 million or $0.58 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.73 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
Revenues for the quarter rose to $269.05 million from $234.12 million last year, while six analysts estimated revenues of $271.60 million for the quarter.
