A letter written by Saudi Arabian officials was allegedly given to the U.S. warning about the accused Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
The Daily Mail says the U.S. Department of Homeland Security received the written letter in 2012 regarding Tamerlan and a possible attack he had planned.
A Saudi official told the Daily Mail that the letter expressed concern about the Boston suspect and, "… was very specific."
The official additionally said the letter mentioned Tsarnaev's name and warned that "something was going to happen in a major US city."
Tamerlan is a suspect along with his younger brother in the Boston bombings that killed three and injured over 200 people on April 15.
The Saudis denied him a visa to visit Saudi Arabia in 2011.
Tsarnaev said to be under strict surveillance by Russian agents on his visit to southern Russia last year for 6-months.
President Barack Obama has ordered officials to investigate all warning signs prior to the Boston bombings.
Obama said, "We want to leave no stone unturned," NY Post reports.
