At 5.00 am ET Thursday, Eurozone economic sentiment survey data is due. Economists expect economic confidence to rise to 89.4 in May from 88.6 in the previous month. Business confidence is seen at -0.85, compared to -0.93 in April.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against other major currencies.
As of 4:55 am ET, the euro traded at 130.69 against the yen, 0.8549 against the pound, 1.2441 against the franc and 1.2976 against the greenback.
