Cracker Barrel Old Country Store (CBRL) reported third quarter EPS of $1.02 Monday morning, 0.81 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.94. The company also increased its full year 2013 EPS forecast to between $4.75 and $4.85, from prior expectations of $4.60 to $4.80. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $4.79.
Cracker Barrel gapped open sharply higher Monday and is now up 7.01 at $96.47. The stock has leaped to a new high for the year.
