Nissan North America Inc., a unit of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. (NSANY.PK), reported May 2013 U.S. sales of 114,457 units, up 24.7% from 91,794 units a year earlier.
Nissan Division sales increased 31.2% for the month with 106,558 units. But, sales of Infiniti vehicles decreased 25.4% from the prior year to 7,899 units.
Total car sales grew 20.0% to 66,169 units, while total truck sales rose 31.7% to 48,288 units over a year earlier.
