Linn Energy (LINE) has been steadily declining since the open of trade Wednesday and is now down 3.25 at $23.80 on above average volume.
Linn Energy has fallen to its second consecutive new low for the year. The company announced after the close Monday that its was notified by the staff of the SEC that its Fort Worth Regional Office has commenced a private, non-public inquiry regarding LINN and LinnCo.
