Pitt Researcher Arrested, Charged With Murder Of Wife

Dr. Robert Ferrante, neuroscientist at the University of Pittsburgh, was arrested Thursday and charged with killing his wife using cyanide.

Dr. Autumn Klein died on April 20, after her husband allegedly gave her a lethal dose of poisonous cyanide. Klein was the chief of the division of women's neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Her husband allegedly told her the drink was a nutritional supplement that would help her fertility because she wanted a second child, the Pittsburgh Tribune Review reports. Klein and Ferrante have a 6-year-old daughter..
