The average price for a house in the United Kingdom was up a seasonally adjusted 0.3 percent on month in July, property tracking website Hometrack said on Monday - slowing from 0.4 percent in June.
New buyer registrations are slowing as seasonal factors kick in - demand for housing grew 1 percent in July, down from 1.6 percent in June and 2.5 percent in May.
The coverage of price rises fell marginally over July with 29 percent of markets registering price increases - down from 31 percent in June.
On a yearly basis, house prices climbed 1.3 percent, accelerating from the 0.8 percent gain in the previous month.
