Authorities in Jackson County, Mississippi arrested a man recently after he was found holding a large amount of cocaine stashed inside his vehicle.
The Mississippi Press reports that the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Criminal Interdiction Division pulled over Juan Serafin Campos, 49, from Texas, on Interstate 10, where they found multiple pounds of cocaine in the vehicle in addition to over $3,000.
Campos was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and was being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
He is being held on bail of $100,000.
Campos could possibly be facing federal drug charges, and the incident is still being investigated by the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County. The seized cocaine carries an estimated street value of $50,000.
