According to a regulatory filing, activist investor Carl Icahn raised his ownership stake in oil and natural gas producer Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK) to 9.98%.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC, Carl Icahn said he owned nearly 66.45 million shares of Chesapeake. Earlier, Icahn's owned stake was below 9% as of June 30.
