The Westpac-Melbourne Institute's leading index for growth in Australia was up 0.6 percent in July compared to the previous month, according to results released on Wednesday.
That follows the flat reading in June.
The leading index saw a score of 295.1 in July, up from 293.2 in June.
The annualized growth rate was 4.1 percent, up from 3.4 percent in the previous month.
The coincident index came in with a score of 280.6 in July, up from 280.0 in June.
