The total number of job advertisements in Australia was up a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent in September compared to the previous month, the latest survey from Australia and New Zealand Banking Group revealed on Tuesday.
Job ads - which averaged 126,516 per week in the month - also were down 15.2 percent on year.
Internet job ads were up 0.2 percent on month but down 14.4 percent on year, standing at 122,439. Newspaper ads jumped 1.1 percent on month but plummeted an annual 32.7 percent.
