The Chinese yuan extended its winning streak in Asian deals on Tuesday, reaching an all-time high against U.S. dollar.
The yuan firmed to 6.1055 against the greenback, up from Monday's closing quote of 6.1079.
The People Bank of China set today's central parity rate for yuan at 6.1412 per dollar, compared to yesterday's reference rate of 6.1406. The central bank sets the reference rate every morning and allows the currency to move upto 1 percent from that level.
