European Economics Preview: German Ifo Business Climate Index Due

German business sentiment survey result from the Ifo Institute and the nation's final third quarter gross domestic product figures are the major reports due on Friday, an otherwise light day for European economic news.

At 2 am ET, Germany's Federal Statistical Office is set to publish final GDP data for the third quarter. According to the flash estimate released on November 14, the GDP grew 0.3 percent quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter, decelerating from 0.7 percent expansion in the second quarter.

At 3.15 am ET, Sweden's business tendency survey results from the National Institute of Economic Research (NIER) is due.

At 4 am ET, the Ifo is scheduled to release the business climate index for November. The headline index is forecast to increase to 107.7 from 107.4 in October. Retail sales data from Italy is also due at the same time.
