Mitsubishi Motors North America (7211, MMTOF.PK) Tuesday reported November sales of 6,071 units, up 69.9 percent from the same period last year.
Sales growth was bolstered mainly by the U.S.-built Outlander Sport which recorded sales of 2,059 units, up 35.5 percent from last year. Sales of the all-new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander jumped 139 percent to 1,399 units over last year.
Sales of the Outlander and Outlander Sport models grew 35.5 percent and 54.6 percent, respectively, over last year. Lancer and Lancer Evolution were up 41.1 percent and 35.9 percent repectively, over last year.
Yokozawa added, "We are looking forward to continuing on upward momentum in December. We will have increased national television advertising exposure this month and visitors to Mitsubishi dealerships will find attractive incentives on all of our core models."
