European Economics Preview: Eurozone Final GDP, Retail Sales Data Due

Retail sales figures from the Eurozone and detailed data on the region's third quarter gross domestic product are the major European economic news on tap for Wednesday.

At 3 am ET, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office is scheduled to release the final third quarter GDP and retail sales data. Preliminary GDP figures from Romania are also due at the same time.

Spain's services PMI survey results from Markit Economics is slated for release at 3.15 am ET. Swiss industrial production data is also scheduled for release at the same time.

Services PMIs from Italy and France will be released at 3.45 am ET and 3.50 am ET, respectively. Markit is scheduled to publish final services PMI data for Germany and Eurozone at 3.55 am ET and 4 am ET, respectively.

Norway's current account data is due at 4 am ET. At 4.30 am ET, Markit is slated to publish PMI survey results for the U.K. service sector.

At 5 am ET, second GDP estimates for the Eurozone is due. The GDP expanded 0.1 percent quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter, according to the preliminary estimate from the Eurostat. Retail sales data is also slated for release at the same time.
