Australia saw a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 5.8 percent in November, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said on Thursday.
That was in line with expectations and up from 5.7 percent in October.
The Australian economy added 21,000 jobs in November - blowing past expectations for an increase of 10,000 following the addition of 1,100 jobs in the previous month.
The participation rate was 64.8 percent - as expected and unchanged from the October reading.
